HDFC Bank Launches Pixel Play: India's Leading Virtual Credit Card with Visa

HDFC Bank has introduced Pixel Play, India's first virtual credit card in collaboration with Visa. This ground-breaking launch features two variants, Pixel Play and Pixel Go, designed to allow users to customize their cards to fit their lifestyle and preferred merchants via the bank’s PAYZAPP mobile app.

Pixel Play offers streamlined digital management with features such as card controls, rewards, and EMI dashboards, setting a new standard for seamless banking experiences. Users can select benefits, offers, and designs that match their individual needs, all through a fully digital process that eliminates the need for extensive documentation or communication. The card also offers the flexibility to choose a preferred billing cycle date and convert purchases to EMI, with easy repayment management via PAYZAPP.

As HDFC Bank's first virtual credit card in partnership with Visa, Pixel Play marks a new era of digital banking. While currently available only on the Visa network, HDFC Bank plans to expand this offering to other networks soon. This partnership highlights HDFC Bank’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions.

This launch follows HDFC Bank’s historic milestone in January 2024, becoming the first bank in India to surpass 2 crore credit cards in circulation. Since pioneering the credit card business in 2001, HDFC Bank has solidified its position as a leader in the Banking industry. With Pixel Play, the bank continues to push the boundaries, setting new benchmarks for excellence in digital banking solutions.
